My Summer Resolution

Made a vow to myself this summer  I would take some much needed time to reflect on my life. Reflect on the woman I was and who I wanted to become. Reflect on the mum I was and the mum I wanted to become. Reflect on the sister I was and who I wanted to become. Reflect on the daughter I was and how I could honor my parents more. Reflect on the Christian I was and what changes I could make to love more and set an example, for my peers and son.

So far this summer has shown me some good and bad revelations about myself. Areas I thought I was over but still affected me. (Denial is powerful) Areas I need to work harder on and some relationships I need to let go. (I’ll be writing a post on the blog about toxic relationships) Areas of my life that I took for granted and other areas where I cared waaaaayyy to much.

I realized I’m a work in progress. A work that I’d still be molded to a great woman.

Today, I nominate myself as the #WC4D (Women Created 4 Destiny)

May we all empower each other to be the best versions of ourselves and live to our full potential.
